For the last few days I’ve been obsessing over an iPhone. Normally i don’t like apple products. But for some reason I’ve convinced myself that i really want… no no need one of these trendy phones. Currently i have the AT&T Tilt made by HTC. It does everything i need it to do. Its just so… old? I think my main complaint about the phone is that the touch screen isn’t very responsive. For example, when i open the phone application to dial a telephone number by hand (very rare, but it happens) it takes a few presses on each button for it to respond. The other complaint is that texting is slow. I recently upgraded to 6.5 and it changed the way text messages are shown. I love it but it seems very slow. Sometimes I’ll start typing and then look up at the screen to see the phone only on the second or third word. Very annoying.

To try and convince myself to keep the tilt, I’ve been reading a lot of online forums and watching YouTube videos of people proclaiming the superiority of the Tilt to the iPhone. I think the best thing for me to do at this moment is to sit down and wait until June when Apple makes its big announcements concerning the iPhone OS 3.0. There are also rumors of a new iPhone hardware as well. I guess we shall see.
